*COLLEGE/CAREER: Dates & Info for Families of Juniors '22*


To the Families of Juniors, Class of '22:


As the College and Career Center (CCC) heads into the spring each school
year, College Counselors begin to prepare Juniors for the oncoming college
application cycle with classroom presentations, workshops, and advising
appointments. Please see below for some of notable dates:


*February 4, Thursday (7PM): *Juniors' Families College Info Night

*March 4, Thursday (3PM): *Workshop for Juniors '22: *How to Create a
College List*

*April 15, Thursday (3PM): *Workshop for Juniors '22: *College Admissions
Review*

*May 18, Tuesday (3PM): *UC Personal Insight Questions (PIQ) Workshop

*May 20, Thursday (3PM): *Personal Statements//EOP Workshop


The highlighted event is our first for the '22 Juniors and we're extending
our invitation to families/parents/guardians of Juniors to come hear an
overview of the resources the CCC provides, meet the staff, and be informed
on what to expect with the college app process. All events will be held
over Zoom in Ms. Hammond's Zoomroom

The College Counselors have already begun going into Junior Classrooms to
do intro presentations. Very shortly, we will open our schedule for
advising appointments (info will be sent directly to students to their
student emails). I invite you to warmly encourage your student(s) to meet
with their college counselor to create a game plan and hope to see you Feb.
4, Thursday at 7PM for our College Info Night for Families. Looking forward
to meeting you all :)
