Dear BUSD Scholars!

*Are you interested in earning COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL CREDITS...for FREE!?*

Join us for our first ever Dual Enrollment Virtual Orientation and
Enrollment Session, on Thursday, December 3rd from 3:00 - 4:30 PM, hosted
by Berkeley City College.

Dual enrollment is a unique opportunity for you to get a head start on
earning college credits, while also earning high school credits at the same
time. Taking community college courses as a high school student is free,
potentially saving you both time & money! Come learn more about dual
enrollment and get registered for courses for the Spring 2021 semester!

Berkeley City College counselors and student ambassadors will be ready to
provide you on the spot support with:

   -

Filling out your online BCC application
   -

Exploring recommended course options and certificate pathways
   -

Completing your concurrent enrollment form for registration

**We encourage you to try and submit your application to Berkeley City
College <https://cccapply.org/en/> by Monday, November 30th or ASAP (sorry
for short notice). This should provide enough time for your Peralta account
and Student ID to be created before the event, meaning we will be able to
start your registration process during the event. The sooner you have a
student account, the sooner you will be able to register for courses before
they fill up! However, if you are not able to complete it, or you’d like
support completing the application, we will be able to support you during
the event.

Check out the attached guide for filling out the BCC Application & Dual
Enrollment Virtual Orientation Flyer for more information!

The Zoom link for the event will be provided during the week of the event.
