Dear 10th and 11th Grade Students,

The Raíces Recruitment & Retention Center (formerly known as the RAZA
Center), at UC Berkeley invites 10th and 11th grade students to the 10th
annual program, Raíces Blossom Program (previously known as the Raíces
Overnight Host Program). The mission is to demystify higher education
through programs geared towards low-income students of color in efforts to
encourage them to attend institutions of higher education.

Raíces Blossom Program is for 10th-11th grade students with a G.P.A of 2.5
and below. This program will occur from Tuesday, November 10th up until
Saturday, November 14. Students will participate in this 5-day long
program, via zoom, made up of various workshops, panels, and themtorship
(mentorship) guidance. Students will be paired with a current UC Berkeley
student who will share and guide them with their own personal experiences
in preparing, applying, and attending a university.
