PLEASE do not reply to this email. If you have any questions, contact Matt
Albinson, mattalbinson at berkeley.net <mattalbinson at berkeley.net?subject=>.

The Changemaker Project <http://thechangemakerproject.org/> (a
Berkeley-based international nonprofit) is looking for nominations of
students who demonstrate initiative and leadership as activists and
changemakers. TCP empowers youth to innovate social change by helping them
to build creative social and climate justice projects.

TCP runs as a club at Berkeley High, meeting weekly throughout the year,
and students are mentored as they develop and implement creative social
justice projects. This year the meetings will be held via Zoom, and take
place on Tuesdays at 3pm.

The program culminates in a Global Pitch event where students can win
funding for their initiatives. We've had winners from BHS every year since
the program started in 2018 (see last year's winners here
<https://www.thechangemakerproject.org/2020projects>-- Emiko Rohn and
Sydney Henderson won funding for their web project.)

This year we're limiting the club to 30 students, so students must be
nominated by a BHS staff member to participate. *If you're interested in
joining, ask a teacher to nominate you by giving your name to Mr. Albinson
(*mattalbinson at berkeley.net <mattalbinson at berkeley.net?subject=>*) by next
Tuesday, Oct. 6.* You can learn more about the program here:
