How to apply for scholarships:
1. Look at each school you are applying to for their scholarship
opportunities, eligibility, requirements, and deadlines.
2. Look at websites and plan ahead for a scholarship. Ask everyone if they
know of scholarships- employers, churches, temples, civic groups,
sororities, fraternities, and more.
3. Save your essays from college applications in google docs/drive which
may be used for the scholarship application.
4. Ask 1-2 people for a strong letter of recommendation. Recommenders may
upload or mail a letter of recommendation directly to the scholarship group.
5. You may need a completed FAFSA application and/or IRS tax records to
show financial need. This is a big reason why many scholarships occur
after the college applications and FAFSA are submitted.
