Learn the skills you need to become a better advocate for your community
and for yourself. Berkeley High School Speech and Debate is a nationally
ranked competitive debate team. Through practice and tournaments, team
members hone their speaking, thinking, and argumentative skills, and
harness those skills for activism, high school, college, and their eventual
careers. Whether you're looking to learn about current events, go to law
school, or just become better at speaking and making powerful arguments,
join BHS Speech and Debate.


Debate practice and tournaments have gone online during quarantine, so this
is an extracurricular activity you can do fully and safely!
