*Are you hoping to improve your leadership skills? * Would you enjoy
challenging yourself, in the Sierras, with a supportive team at your back?
Are you a freshman, sophomore, or junior? If so, you should strongly
consider applying to Outward Bound's Youth Leadership Corps: a FREE
year-long leadership and service program that consists of a 12-day
backpacking trip in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, followed by
monthly service projects organized by you and your friends. You will need
to complete a form, write an essay, obtain a letter of recommendation, and
attend an in-person interview to be considered, and the *deadline is March
29*, so get on it! More information at obca.org/ylc, or email
elisvoboda at students.berkeley.net <elisvoboda at students.berkeley.net?subject=>
for a glowing student testimonial. Seriously, it's really good, apply
already.

*Does the world not make sense to you?* Well you're not alone. Myths are
what we share to help explain the unexplainable. Want to learn more? Come
to an info session with Ms. Mage, *Tuesday, Feb. 25th at lunch in
H202B*.  *World
Mythologies* is an English class being offered next school year to juniors
and seniors from all academies.

*Join the Berkeley High Talent Show!* We are still looking for singers,
bands, dancers, spoken word artists, rappers, circus acts, comedians. Sign
up on the sheet outside of the leadership office in the cafeteria. *Auditions
are today through February 28*... Or send in a brief video of your audition
to johnvillavicencio at berkeley.net <johnvillavicencio at berkeley.net?subject=>.

*Have you taken the SAT/ACT already? Are you planning on taking the test
this year? If you answered yes to either of these questions, this message
is for you!*

Junior class leadership is organizing an SAT/ACT book drive to make FREE
test prep resources more accessible. If you have extra or used test prep
books, you can donate them to our book drive!

*****Books can be dropped off in the leadership office (D148).
