*Shaping Policy, Programming and Budget: Centering the Concerns of BUSD’s
Families of Black High School Students*


*Calling on all BHS and BTech black staff, students, parents of BHS and
BTech students of African descent!*


Do you have ideas about how to improve the learning experience for Black
children in BUSD?


Come and share them at the next meeting of PCAD (Parent of Children of
African Descent) where we will outline our priorities in preparation for a
meeting with Superintendent Brent Stephens in January.


*When: Saturday Dec 7, 2019 10am - 12 pm*

*Where: BHS College Career Center, 2nd floor Admin Building*



Also two opportunities to spread some holiday cheer by:

   1. Monetary donations will be accepted for a simple pancake breakfast
   being donated and prepared by Dee Ann Evans during our meeting.
   2. Donate a pair of new S,M, L or XL pajamas at our meeting


All proceeds and donations will benefit the Pajama Project a program
supporting BUSD high school students facing homlessness this season. This
effort is being headed by PCAD parent Dee Ann Evans in partnership with
staff from BTech  and Office of Family Engagement.
