Green Dot is a prevention program at Berkeley High School that addresses bullying, sexual harassment   The program capitalizes on students (specifically juniors) who influence school culture by training them with skills to intervene when they notice issues such as sexual harassment, assault, bullying and dating violence. Students go through a one day training and then continue to meet with leaders every other month to discuss: 
·  Current issues that have been happening, 

·  How to create a positive change/ positive school culture

·  A space for student voice

Once juniors are trained they continue to stay Green Dot Ambassadors through their senior year. In order to maintain this program we are always looking for food donations/ gift cards to Safeway, Target, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, etc.  We want to a minute to thank two large donations from local vendors: 

Thank you to Picante Berkeley for donating lunch for over 75 kids in September!  A huge shoutout to Cheeseboard Pizza  as well for your generous donation last month at the first training of the year!  The food from these restaurants was delicious and greatly appreciated!!
