French Club meeting on Wednesday, 6 November, in Room C-102, Madame Chenault's class, during lunch. French desserts and French cheese and bread! Discussion of our trip to Canada during spring break! A great new film! And a prize for the brightest colors.
 
Gender Expansive Support Group

Athletics:
Varsity Softball: There will be an informational meeting at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Nov. 7, on the Varsity softball field, for all students interested in playing softball in the spring.
 
Girls Tennis: Girls tennis continued its wonderful run this past week as they closed out WACC play with 2 more wins to finish 13-1 and 1st in the WACC <https://twitter.com/BHSjacketSports/status/1191223573400043520>. Singles and Doubles players seek individual titles this Friday and Saturday at Chabot College. 
 
BIG Water Polo Playoff games this week:
It's time for NCS! After taking 3rd place in the WACC championships, our girls head to Campolindo's Soda Aquatic Center on Thursday to take on Clayton Valley Charter in round 1 of the Division 1 North Coast Section Playoffs. Start time: 3:45PM
 
After a perfect 25-0 season, the boys team will test their mettle in the Open division of the North Coast Section playoffs against Monte Vista: Thursday, 5PM, at Campolindo's Soda Aquatic Center

Tryouts for Winter sports began yesterday. Here is the info you need:
Girls Soccer - Jacket Stadium @4-6PM
Boys Soccer - Jacket Stadium @6-8PM
Girls Basketball - Jacket Gym @5PM
Boys Basketball - Donahue Gym @5PM
Athletes must be cleared by the Athletic Director's office to be able to participate. 

SHIFT applications are now due November 8th, instead of the 1st. 
Are you a Berkeley High student interested in educating your peers on sexual health, practicing public speaking and getting paid for making a positive difference in your community? SHIFT, Sexual Health Information for Teens has extended their application due date to November 8th, not the 1st. You still have one more week to apply!
