>> BOLD (Berkeley High Families Owning Learning Differences) is a support group for parents of children with Learning Differences. This group, formed in 2013 by Berkeley High parents, meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at BHS in the College and Career Center (CCC). BOLD is dedicated to finding ways to support, empower and educate students with learning disabilities and their families by fostering understanding and advocating for effective intervention

>> Our first meeting of the 2019-2020 school year will be Monday, September 9th from 6:30 to 8:30 in the CCC. There will be a presentation by Susannah Bell, Special Education Program Manager for students ages 14-22 in BUSD, and Monica Salvadore, Education Specialist/IEP Case Manager @ BHS.  Susannah and Monica will provide an overview of services - Special Ed services available at BHS, including how Special Ed is structured within BHS and BUSD and resources available to students and families, as well as IEP & 504, "Who does what" at BHS.
