Please join us for the first meeting of the year of the Berkeley High
School Development Group (BHSDG). This month's meeting is Tuesday,
September 3, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the College and Career Center. Monthly
meetings are held the 1st Monday of the month, unless there is a holiday.
BHSDG meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more
about the Board should come to observe the meeting and meet the Board.
The Berkeley High School Development Group is an independent nonprofit
501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1991 by a group of parent volunteers to
ensure the quality and excellence of Berkeley High School. Our mission is
to support and strengthen the educational experience of all BHS students by
raising and distributing funds.
The BHSDG provides funding for many important programs throughout BHS,
Student Daily Planners/Organizers given out at Orientation
Free After-School Tutoring open to all students by classroom teachers in
Classroom Supplies Grants for all teachers
College Application and testing fees for students in need
New Computers and Technology
As well as, Monthly Grants applied for by teachers and staff for a wide
range of equipment and educational enrichment opportunities.
