BHS Families,


We hope you are getting excited for our fall sports season. Football
practices/tryouts begin August 5th and all other fall sports (Girls and
Boys Waterpolo, Cross-Country, Girls Volleyball, Girls Tennis, Girls Golf,
Girls Field Hockey) begin August 12th. *FYI:* It's never too early to
submit paperwork for winter and spring sports also!


*Athletes must be REGISTERED and CLEARED to participate in practices.*


All athletes (including returning athletes) must register online through
our online registration system called Family ID. To register, go to
http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/



*BEFORE YOU REGISTER:*

Students are required to have a current medical exam/physical in order to
complete the Athletic clearing process.  Completed Physical/Medical
Clearance Forms must be uploaded on FamilyID before the Athletic
Registration can be completed and approved. Physical/Medical Clearance
forms can be downloaded from the Athletic’s page website:

*INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:*

Plan on spending approx. 20 minutes to complete the process.  It will be
helpful to have your Student ID number and health insurance information,
including policy number, handy to allow for accurate completion of your
online registration.

and follow these steps:*


1. Click on the green *Register Now* button and scroll, if necessary, to
the *Create Account/Log In* green buttons.

2. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click *Create Account* and
*Create* your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First
and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password.

a. Select *I Agree* to the FamilyID Terms of Service.

b. Click *Create Account*.

c. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. If
you don’t see the email, check your e-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.)

d. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to
FamilyID.com

3. If you already have a FamilyID account, click *Log In*.

4. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All
fields with a red* are required to have an answer.

5. Click the *Save & Continue* button when your form is complete.

6. Review your registration summary.

7. You will receive an email from FamilyID confirming your registration.
At any time, you may log in at www.familyid.com to update your information
and to check your registration(s).


**Please note - students who fail to complete the registration process
PRIOR to tryouts will miss the first day(s) of tryouts and practice and
this can impact their ability to play in games as well.
