Please join us in celebrating the Berkeley High teams that qualified for The Changemaker Project<http://www.thechangemakerproject.org/>'s Global Pitch<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/changemaker-global-pitch-tickets-61905025598> event this Sunday evening. Over the past several months, students in 15 countries have been building innovative solutions to real-world problems including climate change, global hunger, homelessness, disability rights, racism, water access, gender equality, literacy, and refugee integration.
On June 9th, each of our finalist teams will pitch their project ideas for a chance to win funding from philanthropists and investors. Several Berkeley High teams have qualified for the event and we would love to have your support in cheering them on!
BHS students who qualified for the Global Pitch:
Felix Moses
Tenzin Choezin
Anna Pelegrino
Olivia Forney
Iyana Carraway
Michaia Dixon
Maria-Stefanie Hubbard
Milagro Adom
We'll have a buffet of appetizers from local vendors, plenty of House Kombucha and Yerba Matte, a silent auction with awesome prizes, and free goodie bags for the first 50 folks in the door. We're offering free tickets to this event for the Berkeley High community. Get your free ticket with promo code BHS<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/changemaker-global-pitch-tickets-61905025598> and invite your friends and neighbors!
This is a great opportunity to learn about The Changemaker Project<http://www.thechangemakerproject.org/> and how you can get involved in next year's program. We hope you'll join us in celebrating and honoring these young changemakers!
