9:00 am Analytical Writing Essay: This Saturday, May 11, 2019
Time Correction: 9:00 am Analytical Writing Essay Test
Saturday's Analytical Writing Essay Test is going to be at 9:00 am. here at Berkeley High.

2019 Chicano Latino Graduation: If you would like to be part of the 2019 Chicano Latino Graduation please go to D224 during lunch or after school to sign up. The last day to sign up is Wednesday May 15th 2019. The ceremony will be on June 1st 2019 at 12 pm at St Ambrose Church.

Black Graduation Meeting and Rehearsal: We will join together before our Saturday, June 1 (2:00pm) graduation ceremony.
Students are expected to attend the rehearsal to recite their short speech and work with a coach.
Rehearsal Date: Thursday, May 30th
Location: Berkeley Community Theater
Time: 3:30 pm- 5:00 pm

Afro-Haitian Dance Production: We hope to see you for this amazing production!
Date: Thursday, May 16th
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Berkeley Community Theater

The Berkeley High Coup, also known as the Berkeley High Ultimate Club, traveled to Stockton May 4-5 to play in Spaghetti Western 2019. This is the biggest youth ultimate tournament in the Bay Area, with teams from around the Bay Area, as well as some from Southern California and Oregon. Berkeley High Coup sent five teams to the tournament: Hysteria played in the U20 Girls Division and Lo Coux, Lo Qyu, Yellow, and Red all played in the U19 Open Division.

Facing tough competition, we are excited to announce that Hysteria won the U20 Girls Division and the Red team won the U19 Open Division of the tournament. Go Coup!

Hot Pitches, a cappella concert:
Berkeley High's student-run a cappella group, the Hot Pitches, are performing concerts on Saturday, May 11, Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. Come watch the show-we'll be performing our arrangements of popular songs, as well as fun dance choreography. The concert is an hour and fifteen minutes long, and tickets for the first night are pay what you can! The Hot Pitches won the BHS 2018 Battle of the Bands with our performances of "Havana," "Shape of You," and "Toxic." See some of these songs and many more, along with a beatbox showcase, at the full Hot Pitches concert!
The shows start at 7pm in the Little Theater. Tickets will be sold at the door, beginning at 6:30pm:
May 11 - pay what you can, $5 suggested
May 17, 18 - $5-15 sliding scale
