PLEASE do not reply to this email, announcements are reviewed in the BHS Main Office by Vice Principal Tammy Rose bhsmorningannouncements at berkeley.net<mailto:bhsmorningannouncements at berkeley.net?subject=>.

The library will be closed after school (at 3:30pm) on Thursday (5/2) and Friday (5/3) of this week due to scheduled trainings.

Just a reminder to all students that summer school applications are at the front desk of the counseling center. Priority registration ends May 17th. Please visit your counselor and/or pickup application and submit it as soon as possible as spots are filling up!

At graduation, we'll be screening a video on the scoreboard in Haas Pavilion. As people enter the building, they'll see a "BHS '19 Throwback Video." Check your inbox if you'd like to contribute clips to this video. We're looking for a variety of types of clips that all have one thing in common; they feature Class of '19 students' faces, faces that reveal the beauty and diversity of this year's senior class

Juniors:
If you are planning to apply to a 4 year college or university, chances are the school requires one of the admissions tests- SAT or ACT.

Pay attention to these registration deadlines before late fees apply and/or seats are unavailable at the test center:

SAT Test is June 1st and regular registration deadline is May 3.
Register on-line at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/register/online-registration-help

ACT Test is June 8th and regular registration deadline is May 3.
Register on-line at https://www.act.org/content/act/en/register.html

Be sure to print admission ticket with your photo included and bring a second photo ID (school ID or driver's license) on test day. Report to test by 7:45 AM to the C building where you will sign in for exact room number of test.

Questions about test fee waivers to avoid fees if you are part of the free/reduced lunch program? Please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you completed the on-line application for free or reduced lunch every school year: ezmealapp.com<http://ezmealapp.com/>

2. Show the letter or email received from the BUSD Nutrition Services Dept. that states that the student was approved for free or reduced lunch. Bring to the CCC in Room D-221 and we will make copies and give the waiver with a special registration code to the student.

3. If a student does not have a letter or email, we will need other verification from BUSD Nutrition Services staff. See staff in the CCC for help to verify free/reduced lunch status.

Schools that are test optional are listed at fairtest.org<http://fairtest.org/>
Community colleges do not require SAT or ACT.
