Hello!

We are looking forward to the final celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Black Studies and Integration of Schools in BUSD, the Malcolm X Day Banquet. This Black Tie or African Attire Affair is an event in which you should expect great food, dancing, and good times as we build community and celebrate the giants among us! The banquet will take place May 18, from 6-10pm, at the Emeryville Center of Community Life at 4727 San Pablo.
Would you support this event by purchasing a table on behalf of your organization? If you are unable to attend, there are many teachers, students, and community members that would be grateful you sponsored their ability to join this celebration.
Thank you in advance for your support. We are truly grateful to have such partners in advancing the work of the BUSD American Studies Department and Equity.

Purchase your ticket or table using this eventbrite link<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bhs-malcolm-x-banquet-a-black-tie-affair-tickets-59751527427>! Questions or concerns email aasd50years at gmail.com<mailto:aasd50years at gmail.com> or call Barbara Gordon, at 510-883-4161. Also see the attached image for details.

Warm Regards,

The 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee
