*Welcome to BHS Boys Volleyball Coach Mike Hudley!*

After playing 4 years of high school volleyball El Cerrito High School Mike
graduated from UCLA with BA Anthropology.

Over the past 5 years he has participated in Adult Volleyball Leagues and
tournaments as well as working in the exciting field of HVAC!

As a Berkeley High Volleyball coach Mike is interested in creating a
positive and team oriented environment where students can grow and expand
their capabilities both on and off the court.  He wants to encourage
students to develop a strong work ethic and carry that with them into other
aspects of their lives.

This year we have a Varsity team and a developmental team.  Mike is excited
to see the BHS boys volleyball program continue to expand and contribute to
the growing interest in volleyball.


Last two home games:

4/23 vs. San Leandro at Berkeley High in the Jacket Gym 4:15

4/25 vs. Castro Valley at Berkeley High in the Donahue Gym at 4:15.



*Welcome BHS Football Coach James Hodgins!*

Hey fellow Yellowjackets!! My name is James Hodgins and I am proud and
honored to be the new head coach here at Berkeley High.  I played 8 years
in the NFL and was a starter on the Rams on the team known as "the greatest
show on turf."  My life has had many highs but also some low points.  I am
a Super Bowl Champion, but I also made my share of mistakes along the way.
Through it all my faith in God, my family and my education have carried
me.  That's why I am passionate about coaching football here at Berkeley
High School.  I want to help young men make good choices in life and get a
world class education.  I am honored to have been chosen for this position
and I hope you will come out to give Yellowjacket football a try.  We need
players and fans that are passionate about Berkeley football.  We are
planning on building a program that you as a student body can be proud of,
so with your help we can build some amazing Yellowjacket school spirit!
Here comes the "SWARM!"
