Hi BHS families-
This is a reminder that our next BOLD meeting is scheduled for next Monday, April 15th, from 6:30-8:30 pm in the CCC.
By "Executive decision" we will not be hosting a speaker this month but instead plan to spend some time as a group, whoever that ends up being, talking about what we want BOLD to look like next year including speakers, our meeting structure, and ways to share resources. Basically whatever comes up. We also thought it would be a good opportunity to delve a little deeper into any issues people are having and to share our collective knowledge.
Additionally we thought it would be nice to share some food since the meeting happens around dinner time.
Please, come and bring a little something to share including your thoughts and ideas. All are welcome!
Hope to see you there.
BOLD (Berkeley High Families Owning Learning Differences) is a support group for parents of children with Learning Differences. This group, formed in 2013 by Berkeley High parents, meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at Berkeley High in the College and Career Center. BOLD is dedicated to finding ways to support, empower and educate students with learning disabilities and their families by fostering understanding and advocating for effective intervention.
