*Today’s Events*


*Day of Silence:* Show your support today for LGBTQ+ students by taking a
vow of silence today. Talk to your teachers about attending the Breaking
the Silence panel, which will feature the voices of Berkeley High LGBTQ+
students and faculty during periods 4,5, and 6.


*Track Meet:* Today after school. Come out and fill the stands. *Go
Jackets!*


*Blood Drive:* Berkeley high, this is your chance to donate blood in
response to the ongoing shortage of blood in the Bay Area. From 9 am - 2
pm, the Red Cross will be in the East Gallery of the community theater.
Please bring your student ID, state ID or a print out of your schedule with
birthday on it to facilitate the process. You must be at least 16 years old
to donate. Walk ins welcome. Thank you!


"Students! *Therapy Dogs* will be visiting us today at lunch. We'll be in
the Campus Green if the weather permits. If not, we'll be in the C gallery"


*Student Documentary:* Subversive/Subverting Femininity, a student produced
CAS documentary in the Little Theater today at 4:15 pm.


*10th grade Forum:* BIHS Leadership is organizing a forum for BIHS 10th
graders to learn more about their junior year IB courses and provide them
with a space to ask BIHS Juniors and Seniors questions.

*When:* Today @ Lunch in CCC

*Tons of yummy snacks provided!*

The presentation will be broken into 2 parts

   1. A PowerPoint  (made by the IB coordinator, Mr. Clegg) with slides
   containing overviews of each class
   2. Q&A - students get to spend 15 minutes talking one on one w/
   different IB upperclassmen about courses they can take junior year

We also planned the event before your classes are finalized, so if the
feedback/information you receive changes your mind, *you still have time to
change to different course.  *If you can't make it and have questions email
