Community Event: We'd like to invite you to a OneSky community event with Dr. William Stixrud and Ned Johnson, best-selling authors of The Self-Driven Child: The Science and Sense of Giving Your Kids More Control Over Their Lives<http://www.theselfdrivenchild.com/> on Wednesday, March 13th at the Berkeley High School Library. With a combined 60+ years of working with kids and extensive research, Bill and Ned will share how their methods help kids be more stress-resistant, motivated, resilient and happy. The event will be from 7pm - 8:30pm. Please come support Students for One Sky.
Internship Opportunity: The David Brower Center is hiring 4 summer interns from Berkeley High! Help build the Brower's Youth Environmental Activist Program teaching workshops for 2nd through 4th graders. Interns will be paid a stipend, add great experience to their resume and college applications, help make the world a better place! Ticket sales for Prom 2019 at the fabulous SF City Hall begin on March 11 ONLINE ONLY. Please remember that you should have less than 30 unverified period absences and completed guest passes before purchase.
Also, attached is the Prom Royalty to be voted on and selected at the prom venue. Due April 8th. See the form for more details.
In-person ticket sales will begin March 18 in the Leadership Office in the BHS cafeteria.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Guest Pass must be submitted at time of ticket purchase. See attached or pick up a copy in Leadership Office.
