PCAD Presents: Career Technical Education or CTE at BHS - This isn’t simply your parent’s vocational training!

Come learn about CTE and the potential that Career Connected Learning, done right, has to engage students through highly experiential and contextualized learning and provide the necessary tools and a clear road map into high wage, high growth, regional employment opportunities.

Join us as we are hear from Wyn Skeels, the CTE Program Supervisor at BHS. Just in time for course registration for next year, Wyn will acquaint us with the various CTE programs offered at BHS. We will learn how these programs are benefiting students, not just with vocational preparation but socially and in other academic areas as well.

Talking with BFT (Teachers union) reps
We will also have an opportunity to interact with representatives from Berkeley Federation of Teachers regarding the upcoming contract negotiations with BUSD.

Our PCAD meeting is this Saturday March 9, 10 am -12 noon in the BHS College Career Center.(2nd floor, Main Administration Building).

Please bring your Berkeley high students to join in the conversation.

Refreshments will be provided.
We hope to see your face in the place!
