March College Updates for Juniors and Families of Juniors

Junior Family College Info Night (This Thursday)
Parents and Guardians of current Berkeley High School Juniors are invited to attend our annual Junior Family College Presentation. Our College Counselors in the CCC (College and Career Center) will be going over the basics and timeline of the upcoming college application process and the resources we provide.

Who: Parents/Guardians of Juniors
What: College Info Presentation for Juniors
When: March 7 (Thursday) at 6:30-8:30 PM
Where: Berkeley High School Library
Why: To Hear about College and Meet the BHS College Counselors!

Naviance
Juniors may log into their Naviance accounts (details on this web page here<https://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/resources/college-career-center/naviance/>). Naviance is a college and a career resource that many high schools around the country use. Please have your student visit that web page link above for an introduction to making the most of Naviance. The College Counselors will visit Junior classes in May to give them an in-person tutorial on Naviance and its college exploration tools. In the meantime, we highly recommend that students add colleges they will be applying to in the "Colleges I'm Applying To" list as we will be able to send them valuable scholarship, program, and rep visit information.
