CITY OF BERKELEY YOUTHWORKS SUMMER 2019 APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT.

Applications for summer employment with the City of Berkeley Youthworks Program will be available beginning Friday, March 1, 2019 at the YouthWorks office. The YouthWorks office is located on the 2nd floor of 2180 Milvia St. Also known as the MLK Civic Center or City Hall on the corner of Milvia and Allston Way, office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

The timeframe to pick up and submit applications is Friday March 1st - Friday March 29th.

·         Applicants must be at least 14 years old by April 15th 2019.

·         Applicants must be Berkeley residents.

·         Applicants are required to come in person to the YouthWorks office to pick up an application.

·         Applicants may be accompanied by an adult.


There will be free resume workshops facilitated by YouthWorks during the month of March (dates and times TBD); applicants can acquire more details and sign up for one of the workshops when they visit the YouthWorks office to pick up an application.

Information about getting a summer job, additional programs, or possible year-round employment opportunities for Berkeley residents aged 18-25 through YouthWorks and answers to frequently asked questions are available at https://www.cityofberkeley.info/youthworks/.
