Here is a monthly spreadsheet of scholarships.  Note that not all have been updated yet. See websites for eligibility, applications, and deadlines.

Applicants should be aware of the following eligibility requirements which will be strictly adhered to. Any applications not meeting these requirements will be disqualified, so please look this over carefully before applying!
Only graduating seniors from high schools or G.E.D. programs within the cities of Berkeley, Albany and El Cerrito are eligible.
Applicants must submit a completed application, three essays, one official transcript and two letters of recommendation

Berkeley Retired Teachers Award; Due in CCC by 2/22/19
Applicants  must be Berkeley residents, attended at least 3 years of BUSD elementary school, all of middle school and all years at BHS.  Only hard copy applications in the CCC. Write a one page essay and be available for an interview, if selected, on 4/18/19.

 Asian Pacific Fund: Due by 2/26/19, unless otherwise noted.

Who can apply?  Incoming or current college students of any ethnic background. Must plan to be enrolled full time in Fall 2019.  Minimum GPA of 3.0, US citizen or permanent resident.

 Japanese American Citizen League (JACL): Mail by 3/1/19:
For graduating seniors who plan to enroll in 2 year of 4 year college in Fall 2019 (no deferments).
Must join as member of JACL for student rate of $34
Scholarships awarded on basis of academic achievement,  school activities, work history, letter of recommendation, personal statement, Japaneses cultural activities, and a group interview. Hard copies in Scholarship Box in CCC next to printer or print your own copies here:

Berkeley Community Fund High Hopes Scholarship: Due 3/21/19

The High Hopes Scholarship Program is a college success program designed to provide mentorship, programs, community support, and resources to motivated and resilient college-bound seniors from Berkeley public high schools. Scholars receive a scholarship of $16,000, payable in installments of $2,000 twice a year for four years.
Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated financial need, community involvement, and academic and personal achievement. Funds awarded may be used for tuition, books, room and board and incidental expenses in connection with the recipient’s college education. BCF administers Berkeley Rotary scholarships*. Students will submit one application and participate in one interview process to be considered for both the BCF and Rotary scholarships. Only one scholarship will be awarded per student.
Who can apply:
2019 graduates of Berkeley High School or Berkeley Technology Academy
Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and documented financial need
Open to AB540 students

Shelley Bergum Higher Education Award: Due 3/22/19
The goal of the Shelley Bergum Higher Education Scholarship is to support individuals with disabilities to pursue an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree at a higher education institution in California. Two scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded annually. Current awardees will be encouraged to reapply each year until the course of study is completed.
