Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball team on a great season!

The Lady Jackets end their season with a 19-7 record and 4-6 in league. They are seeded #11 and will travel to Fremont to be hosted by #6 Mission San Jose High School in the First Round of CIF/NCS playoffs.

Berkeley (seeded #11) will travel to Mission San Jose High (seeded #6)

Tuesday 2/12, 7:00 p.m. @ Mission San Jose High School

EXCITING BERKELEY HIGH CIF/NCS Soccer Double Header!!!!!

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer team on an outstanding season!

With an overall, undefeated record of 19-0-4 and a league record of 15-0-1, they head into the first round of NCS Playoffs this Wednesday 2/13/19 in a Home game.

Berkeley (seeded #2) will host James Logan (seeded #15)

Wednesday 2/13, 7:00 p.m. @ Berkeley High Jacket Stadium

Admission for NCS games is charged.

Congratulations to the Wrestling team on a great season!

Veronica Lerman won the conference tournament! Kyle Gaunavinaka, Tyler Joyce, and Caton Woll all came in second. Sunish Patel, Michael Vasquez, and Diego Fernandez all came third. All of these Wrestlers, along with Avery Champlin and Knoa Tsang-Jaffe will be competing at NCS next weekend. Girls at Albany and Boys at James Logan on 2/15-16



CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BERKELEY HIGH COMPETITIVE CHEER TEAM!

Our Competitive Cheer team qualified and will be going to Jamz Nationals. The team travels to Las Vegas where they will compete in the Jamz Cheer and Dance School Nationals.



Cheer team - We are so proud of you and all your hard work! Travel safely and show them our Jacket Pride!!! We will be cheering for you from here in Berkeley. GO JACKETS!



American Mathematics Competition

DId you sign up for the American Mathematics Competition? Last chance to practice on Tuesday at lunch in G209. Competition is on Wednesday periods 1 & 2. Turn in permission slips!



Queer and Trans Literature

BHS is offering a brand-new English elective next year for 11th and 12th graders from all learning communities. This course introduces students to LGBTQIA+ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, asexual, intersex, etc.) literature and culture. It is a yearlong course with English credit and elective credit (pending). You don't have to be part of the LGBTQIA+ community to enroll- come learn about experiences outside your own! Talent Show Auditions

Talent Show auditions are February 12-13 and February 19-20 during lunch and after school. The Junior Class Leadership Team is looking for singers, dancers, bands and performers of all styles for the Talent Show in mid-March. The sign-up sheet if outside of the Leadership Office in the cafeteria. If you have any questions, feel free to email Mr. V or anyone on Junior Class Leadership.



"Loving" Film-screening Time Change!
The film screening of "Loving" February 22nd will now be at 4:45 pm in the Little Theater.
The Lovings were an interracial couple living in Virginia during Jim Crow. Their marriage, and arrest for violating misscegenation laws, caused a legal battle that led to the U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial marriage in the US.
Hot beverages and desserts will be served at intermission Make sure to pass on the word and the EVITE to anyone you think would be interested!!!!!!!!
