*Tonight is the third speaker event in the superintendent's Onward & Upward
Speaker Series.*


Please come on out tonight to hear Dr. Jabari Mahiri, Berkeley Graduate
School of Education professor and author of Deconstructing Race:
Multicultural Education Beyond the Color Bind, and participate in our
on-going community conversation to promote excellence and equity in
education. Dr. Mahiri will engage us in his ideas and research about race,
identity, and inclusion and how we all can be part of promoting a sense of
belonging for children and young people in our schools and community.
