Monday, January 14, 2019 

Sports: This weekend, the Girls and JV Boys Wrestling teams traveled to Albany High School for their tournament. Forest Sabath, Ayush Shrestha, Avery Champin, and Santiago Diaz all came in second. Veronica Lerman came in 3rd and Caton Woll and Cyrus Soltani came in 4th. The Varsity Boys traveled to San Ramon Valley with Michael Vasquez coming in second in the championship bracket and Sunish Patel coming in 2nd in the Consolation Bracket. This thursday, the only home dual math of the year will be happening after school in the M   Gym. Come support the team and cheer on our seniors for senior night.

Theater: Come see The Vagina Monologues January 25,26 and February 1,2 at the florence Little theater, 7pm tickets are only $5 and February 1st is pay what you can day.

Student Exchange Program: Sakai, Japan, is Berkeley's oldest sister city, and the Berkeley-Sakai Sister City Association is looking for families to host 1 or 2 Japanese students next summer from July 26 to July 31.  We are also looking for students who would be interested in participating in a student exchange to Sakai and other parts of Japan in July 2020.  If you are interested in hosting and/or going to Sakai, please visit our website at www.berkeley-sakai.org and fill out an Interest Form.  We would also like to invite you to our Annual Dinner on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Berkeley Methodist United Church.  Please join us and find out more about our student exchange program!
