Our next BOLD meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 14th, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Berkeley High College and Career Center. Our presenter will be Robin Miller, formerly at DREDF, (Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund), who now has a private law practice representing students with disabilities. She will talk about educational rights of students who have disabilities and tips for ensuring your child’s educational needs are met. Robin is a great resource for all things related to Special Ed law and IEPs, so bring any questions you might have.

Below is the planned BOLD calendar for the remainder of this school year.

Also, we are still looking for a couple, or 3, good people to take over coordinating BOLD starting next September. The current coordinators will be "graduating" at the end of this school year. This is a great opportunity to support the Special Ed community and to keep a valuable parent resource going. Please send us an email if you are interested in knowing more.

Thanks
