Winter sports tryouts began on Monday. The deadline for registration was 10/24/18.


Registration will re-open for 24 hours from the evening of 10/30-10/31


Due to some extenuating circumstances and because we are nice

Family ID registration will be open for 24 hours for last chance registration starting Tuesday night 10/30 through Wednesday 10/31.



You will need to complete a Family ID registration and you will need to have a doctor’s clearance in order to be reviewed and approved to go to tryouts.  You cannot attend tryouts without being approved by the Athletic Director’s office.  You may email the AD office with any questions. athleticdirector at berkeley.net


If you need assistance with registering, understanding the process or uploading your doctor’s clearance please go to the Berkeley High front desk and ask to speak to Vice Principal over Athletics Tonia Coleman on Wednesday 10/31/18 or call the front desk 510-644-6121


Berkeley High School uses FamilyID to register all student athletes. FamilyID is an easy, efficient, user-friendly online registration platform. Once registered, all your information will be accessible through your FamilyID profile. This profile connects all family members so you won’t be re-entering information for multiple users and sports programs. Find a direct link at http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/ to get started.


BEFORE REGISTERING:

All students must obtain a medical exam or physical, signed and stamped by a doctor, for the Athletic Clearing Process. Completed Medical Clearance Forms must be uploaded to your FamilyID account before registration can be approved. Medical Clearance forms can be downloaded from the school website: http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/


INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:

Plan on spending approximately 20 minutes to complete to process.


Link to FamilyID www.familyid.com and follow these steps:

1. To find your program, click on the link “find a program” in the menu bar and search “Berkeley High School”

2. Click link 2018-2019 Berkeley High Athletic Registration.


3. Click green Register Now button, then scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.


4. Follow prompts to Create your secure FamilyID: First and Last names (parent/guardian), email address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.


5. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your email filters (spam, junk, etc.).


6. Click on the link in your activation email, to verify your login to FamilyID.com


7. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.


8. Click the Save & Continue button when your form is complete. Make sure to upload the Medical Clearance Forms.


9. Review your registration summary and click SUBMIT


10. You will receive an email from FamilyID confirming your registration.You may log-in at any time to update your information and to check on your registration(s) status.
