Students who would like a quiet space to just sit, process, or reflect on the tragic synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh are welcome to come to Mr. Winer's classroom A203 today (Monday) during lunch.


Dance Workshop

UC Berkeley's AFX Dance. The next workshop is Monday, November 5th from 3:30-5:00 pm in Building A dance studio at Berkeley High School.

No previous dance experience needed.


 BHS Robotics Team

Congratulations to the BHS robotics team. They placed 9th of 45 teams at the Capitol City Classic and were the 1st round pick of the 6th seeded playoff alliance. Our best result so far.

Overall fun, but long, weekend. Shout out to team 5499 as well. We teamed up for a close win in match 47!


Splash

Hello students,

Splash at Berkeley is a program where you can take a variety of classes taught by UC Berkeley students on the beautiful Cal campus. Topics range from Quantum Weirdness Mechanics to Marvel Madness to demos of Virtual Reality. Splash is happening this year on Sunday, November 4. Student registration has already opened and closes on November 1, or whenever space runs out, so students should sign up soon:

College and Alumni Program (CAP) Making Waves, Bay Area:

We are excited to announce applications for the CAP Bay Area program are now open. What makes CAPdifferent is its combination of personalized coaching, financial literacy training, and scholarships. Upon graduation, CAP students are equipped with the skills to build meaningful careers and positively contribute to society. Through a competitive application process, CAP Bay Area serves low-income high school graduates from the nine Bay Area counties.


Eligibility requirements to apply:

·  Planning to attend a 4-year college or university
