Upcoming College Events

1. 2. Berkeley High School Cash for College FAFSA Workshop (see PDF attached): Come to BHS November 8 @ 6:30PM to get support completing the FAFSA with financial aid experts from East Bay Consortium, DCAC, and some of our own guidance counselors! See attached FAFSA checklist as well to best prepare for this workshop.


3. College Application Workshops (Held through 10/16-11/29): Every Tues, Weds, & Thurs from 3:30-5:30PM come to the library computer lab to get support on your college applications (CSU, UC, Common App) with Ms. Sandberg and Mr. An! Schedule attached to this e-mail.


Naviance Reminders

As Guidance Counselors and Teachers enter their busy season of Recommendation Writing, I wanted to gently remind ALL students to please (1) update their "Colleges I'm Applying to" list, (2) to officially request their teacher recs, and (3) to speak with their counselors if their colleges require a counselor recommendation. Failure to do these steps may jeopardize your applications. Please reach out with any questions!
