Are you interested in serving your local community and meeting UC-Berkeley students? The Berkeley Project is a semiannual one day service project that takes place across the East Bay. As a volunteer, you would be assigned a site and team up with other volunteers to make a difference at a local place in need. Volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, and a cool t-shirt along with the good vibes of making a positive impact on the community. DEADLINE is October 19.<https://www.berkeleyproject.org/join/> Student Clubs should strongly consider being assigned to the same site!

Berkeley Half Marathon Sunday, November 18 at BHS and various sites around Berkeley in the morning

Did you know that 5,000+ people descend upon Berkeley in November for a running race with BHS as the starting line. If not, you should consider getting behind the scenes as a volunteer at the finish line, bag check, or other areas of need. Student clubs should strongly consider forming a group and teaming up to operate a water stop along the race course. Contact Mr. V by October 15 if you would like to volunteer. Good luck to all runners!!!
