FOR SENIORS ONLY: COLLEGE VISITS:

You may visit with college admissions directors and counselors in the CCC to learn more about programs and applications.  Please get approval from your teachers first so you do not miss important assignments, projects, tests, or quizzes. You are responsible for missed work.


Register for the visit in Naviance under Colleges tab-" Visits"


Sign in when you arrive in the CCC in order to clear your absence.


The following colleges will be in the CCC this week:


Monday, September 24: late start day

period 4: Columbia College

period 6: Worcester Polytechnic Institute


Tuesday, September 25:

period 4:  Vanderbilt University


Wednesday, September 26:

period 1:    Bennington College

period 2:    Barnard College

Closed for lunch for Green Dot


Friday, September 28:

period 2: Scripps College

period 3: Chico State University (CSU, Chico)

period 4: Santa Clara University

ESSAY READERS:

Berkeley High’s College Essay Readers are a group of professional writers and editors committed to helping BHS seniors shine through their personal statements for UC, the Common App and supplemental essays.

Readers will be available in the College Career Center on a first come, first served basis to help students brainstorm, write and revise their essays.

 Bring your printed, double space draft with you if you have it ready.


Schedule of Essay Readers: Note time change on Monday morning to 9:00 AM start.

Monday: 9:00 AM-9:57 AM (before late start)

Monday- Thursday: during lunch and after school @ 3:30 PM

Friday lunch will start in October-December
