Berkeley Independent Study (BIS) Registration

BIS students can pick up their schedules starting Aug. 22 to make sure that they are accurate and to do any Add/Drop forms to make a change in their schedule.


Our first day of school is Monday August 27. The first day of school, students meet with their teachers, schedule their classes, receive their first assignments for the fall semester, and pick up or return emergency cards. Students need to arrive at school at the following times:

Seniors 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Juniors 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sophomore/Freshman 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Make up time: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm


BIS Students will have their photo ID picture taken on the second day of school, Aug. 28.



BIS Orientation

Tuesdays at 12 noon. Please email BIS at berkeley.net<mailto:BIS at berkeley.net> or call 510-644-8592 to sign up for an orientation. This is the first step to learning about Berkeley Independent Study and the enrollment process.
