Fall Sports tryouts happening THIS WEEK!!!



· YOU MAY REGISTER NOW FOR FALL, WINTER AND SPRING SPORTS!

· YOU MAY REGISTER NOW AND UPLOAD A PHYSICAL LATER!

*YOU MUST HAVE A FAMILY ID REGISTRATION AND A DOCTOR’S CLEARANCE UPLOADED
TO THAT REGISTRATION TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY TRYOUTS OR TO PARTICIPATE ON
TEAMS*

*Football* started Monday July 30, contact Coach if interested

*Volleyball* tryouts started Monday August 6, contact Coach with questions

All other Fall sports will start tryouts on Monday August 13

Crew will meet later date TBA

Fall sports include: *Crew (boys and girls), Cross Country (boys and
girls), Field Hockey, Football, Golf (Girls), Tennis (Girls), Volleyball
(Girls), Waterpolo (Boys and Girls)*

Wondering if you are cleared for Fall Tryouts?  Only students with a
completed athletic registration and valid physical will be cleared to
tryout for
Fall Sports.  Check the link on the Berkeley High School website, Athletics
tab.



*Clearance Procedure for Athletes*

*Please read EVERY step to make sure your athlete is approved for tryouts *

*Step 1 - Complete online Athletic registration at Family ID *

· You must* upload your current/valid physical to your registration - *we
are no longer accepting paper physicals.

· Your registration is not complete until you receive an email saying “your
registration is complete”  *Please note: Completed does NOT mean Approved.*

· If you are having technical issues with registration or uploading your
physical please contact Family ID directly -Email:

*Step 2 - The Athletic Director’s office will review your
registration, **physical
and Semester 2 GPA *(2018-19 Freshman participating in Fall Sports will not
have grade check)

*Step 3 - The Athletic Director’s office will APPROVE students In order **to
be approved you must:*

o Have a completed Family ID registration

o Upload a valid physical (signed, dated and stamped by a doctor)

o Have a Semester 2 GPA of 2.0 or higher (Freshman in Fall will be approved)



*****Please note that it may take two or three days to get approval once
your registration had been submitted. Do not wait until the last minute*****



*Step 4 - Coaches will receive a list of all APPROVED students *

Students who are not approved will not be able to tryout until they are
approved

· You have already registered and uploaded a doctor’s clearance, check the
Berkeley High website for the list of approved names for FALL sports tryouts

· If you are out of town and cannot attend the tryouts - please contact the
