May 28-June 6, 2018 all BIHS juniors will be taking on the challenge of providing an oral commentary on a randomly selected piece of literature they have been studying in their English course. Parents are needed to help welcome and support students for the first part of this activity in the assessment space, which will be the BHS community theater lobby.

As a volunteer, you will simply register the student, let them randomly select a piece, and monitor them as they have twenty minutes to prepare notes before they are called in to discuss the poem with their English teacher. You'll be able to enjoy reading the pieces yourself, do your own reading, eat something or get work done as not every minute of time will you be busy.

I'll give you a brief orientation upon arrival. Thank you SO MUCH for considering taking a shift or two!
