Hello Everyone,

January, February and March have been busy months for volunteers at Berkeley High.  We are very appreciative to be a part of such a generous community.


In January, BHS had by far the highest participation rate ever for our all-school survey, and having volunteer assistance made all the difference in a smooth collection of the surveys. Thanks to Robin Packel, Vickie Ma, Johanna Eigen, SanSan Kwan, Elizabeth Grimes, Clare Woakes, Leah Lee, and MJ Baumann for their help as runners.


In February, we welcomed the Class of 2022 at our Incoming Student Info Night in the Berkeley Community Theater. We had a full house! Thank you to Jean Lusson, Joan Kiang, Elizabeth Wells, Myra Paci, and Laurel Coates for their help handing out catalogs and greeting these new families.


This month, in addition to the volunteers who assisted at our successful March 14 event, BHS hosted a Storytelling Festival in the Florence Schwimley Little Theater. Thank you to Dawn Nykamp, Elisse Gabriel, MJ Baumann, Shannon McCune, Mollie McNeil, Tim Ereneta, Cathryn Houghton, Angelina Graham, Thoreau Lovell, Sarah Kansa, Debbie Shrem, Robin Claire, Beatrice Bowles, Dara Efron, Deborah Gilman, Cynthia Madix and Annelise Pineda who helped as ushers throughout the afternoon.


Hope everyone enjoys the upcoming spring break.
