High Hopes Scholarships: for 4 year colleges * attending a 4-year college full-time in the Fall * cumulative GPA over 2.5 in high school * must demonstrate that they are ready for the challenge of college * High Hopes Scholars must remain enrolled full-time in college with a cumulative GPA over 2.25 to continue to receive these funds. The Berkeley High Class of 1951/BCF Scholarship: * cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 The Berkeley Rotary: for 4 yr. colleges * part of High Hopes Scholarship Promise Scholarships: 2 year Community Colleges In the Fall 2018, BCF will award need-based scholarships of $1,500 to Berkeley students attending Berkeley City College with the intention of transferring to a 4-year university. Students who successfully transfer will be eligible to apply to the High Hopes Scholarship Program and receive an additional $8,000 scholarship to assist with completing their bachelor's degree. Want to make your opinions and feedback heard about a project that could make an impact on the Berkeley Unified School District for years to come? The Berkeley Unified School District?s Facilities Department is excited to announce the launch of a year-long process to create and begin the implementation of a Sustainability and Resiliency Master Plan, to reduce the environmental footprint of schools and promote environmental literacy, which which we believe are fundamental to a high-quality 21st century education.
