Dear BUSD Families:


BUSD's Director of Special Education, Lisa Graham, will be relocating with her family this June.


BUSD has enlisted the services of a search firm to recruit for the position, and former BUSD Superintendent, Bill Huyett, will be leading those recruitment efforts on behalf of McPherson & Jacobson, LLC.


On Tuesday, February 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. an input session has been scheduled for parents in the Board Room at 1231 Addison Street.


This session will provide an opportunity for parents to answer questions and to provide input to the search firm and its lead recruiter regarding characteristics or skills that should be prioritized in our search.


We recognize that notice is somewhat short here, yet we are trying to be very aggressive in this search which means getting out into the candidate pool comparatively early in the school year.
