Eligible Juniors: Apply for a chance to take a free SAT study class at UC Berkeley. Please read details below:

The Black Recruitment and Retention Center at the University of California Berkeley has partnered with Study Smarter Tutoring Company in Oakland California in order to provide a FULLY Subsidized SAT Course for low income, high performing students from disadvantaged communities.

The details for the course are included in the application such as application deadlines, eligibility requirements and prerequisites for the course (SAT, ACT or PSAT Scores for Diagnostic purposes). Prepare concise and thoughtful responses to each question. Top applicants will be selected based on eligibility, completion of the application, as well as the strength of the essays.

Important information about Diagnostic Tests: ALL Applicants will be REQUIRED to submit a baseline score:
Option A: Submit pre exisiting scores
Option B: Take an at home proctored test (Directions included in application)
Option C: If student is lacking a diagnostic score for either test or both, they can take practice tests at home and send in their scores. Links to existing practice tests students can utilize, in addition to proctoring guidelines will be provided. Alternatively, on February 18th, we will be hosting a proctored diagnostic SAT for students lacking scores.

All applications will be due February 12th at 11:59 PM. (Late applications will not be accepted)
