Please see below for how to register for Spring Sports tryouts. (Deadline 1/31/18)

**Computer support and office hours for questions today 1/22/18 5:00-7:00 pm and 1/30/18 5:00-7:00 pm in J205 Athletic Director's office.

**Wonder if you already registered for Spring Sports? Check the Berkeley High School website, Athletics tab for a link to the list of names already registered on Family ID. If your name is not there, or your Spring Sport is not listed, please contact Athletic Director at athleticdirector at berkeley.net<mailto:athleticdirector at berkeley.net>

Clearance Procedure for Spring Athletes

Please read EVERY step to make sure your athlete is approved for tryouts beginning on Feb. 5.

Step 1 - Complete online Athletic registration at Family ID by January 31, 2018*

  *   See details for the Family ID process on our Athletic Website - link<http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/>
  *   You must upload your current/valid physical to your registration - we are no longer accepting paper physicals. You can access a form for your physician on the Athletic website.
  *   Your registration is not complete until you receive an email saying "your registration is complete." Please note: Completed does NOT mean Approved.

  *   Computer support for registration 1/22 and 1/30 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in J207

*If you have not completed the registration by January 31 you will not be able to participate in Winter sports.

Step 2 - The Athletic Director's office will review your registration, physical and Semester 1 GPA.

Step 3 - The Athletic Director's office will APPROVE students for Spring tryouts

  *   In order to be approved you must:
     *   Have a completed Family ID registration
     *   Have uploaded a valid physical (signed, dated and stamped by a doctor)
     *   Have a Semester 1 GPA of 2.0 or higher

Step 4 - Spring coaches will receive a list of all APPROVED students on Feb. 5th.

  *   Students who are not approved will not be able to try out for Spring Sports

Please DO NOT wait until January. 31 to register. Please give yourself enough time so that if there are problems, technical or other, you may have time to correct.
