Soccer Without Borders Soccer Gear Drive

The Soccer Without Borders club is hosting an equipment drive next week (November 27-December 1). In the spirit of thanks and giving, we challenge you to go through your closets and pull out any soccer-playing gear such as cleats, shin guards, socks, balls, and athletic clothing. You don't have to play soccer to be able to help! This gear will be used as soon as it's brought in and will enable students to participate in soccer. There will be a bin in the C Building 2nd floor gallery for drop off all next week.


Morning Sports Report

Today the Jacket basketball teams take on El Cerrito High School in the Donahue and M Gyms. Admission will be charged for today’s games; students with an ASB sticker will get in free, and students with a valid ID card receive a discount on admission. Games in the M Gym include girls JV and boys frosh/soph, and games in the Donahue Gym include girls varsity, boys JV and boys varsity. Hope to see you there!

BHS Holiday Meal – Volunteer Update

ASB Leadership wishes to extend their appreciation for all of you who have signed up to help with the December 9 Holiday Meal! All of the volunteer slots for Saturday have been filled, but we still need students and parents to help us set up on Friday, December 8, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Please visit berkeleyschools.net/leadership to sign up.



In addition, we’re still looking for financial contributions and canned goods. Visit the Leadership Office for more information on how you can support this special BHS tradition.


Reminder: Thanksgiving Holidays

There is no school from Wednesday, November 22, through Friday, November 24.
