Clearance Procedure for Winter Athletes
 
Please read EVERY step to make sure your athlete is approved for tryouts beginning on Nov. 6
 
Step 1 - Complete online Athletic registration at Family ID by Oct. 31*

You must upload your current/valid physical to your registration - we are no longer accepting paper physicals. You can access a form for your physician on the Athletic website.
Your registration is not complete until you receive an email saying “your registration is complete.” Please note: Completed does NOT mean Approved.

*If you have not completed the registration by Oct. 31 you will not be able to participate in Winter sports.
 
Step 2 - The Athletic Director’s office will review your registration, physical and Quarter 1 GPA.
 
Step 3 - The Athletic Director’s office will APPROVE students for Winter tryouts
In order to be approved you must:
Have a completed Family ID registration
Have uploaded a valid physical (signed, dated and stamped by a doctor)
Have a Quarter 1 GPA of 2.0 or higher
 
Step 4 - Winter coaches will receive a list of all APPROVED students on Nov. 6th.
Students who are not approved will not be able to try out for Winter Sports
·         A list of approved students (met all 3 steps) will be posted outside the AD office and on a link on the BHS website Athletics tab.

Assistance is available from the Athletic Department for those who need help uploading physicals at the Athletic Director's office (J207 - Stadium Building) on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Please DO NOT wait until Oct. 31 to register. Please give yourself enough time so that if there are problems, technical or other, you may have time to correct them.
