Good Morning Berkeley High! Here are the morning announcements for Tuesday,
October 17.



*Unity Week 2017*

Thank you, students and staff, for answering the question, “Who is your
superhero?” for our second day of Unity Week.  Please remember that no
masks can be worn on campus and to keep any weapon-like items at home.
Student vs. Staff Dodgeball in the Jacket Gym at lunch. We also highly
encourage 2nd period classes to continue collecting canned soups, beans,
vegetables or pasta for the annual Holiday Meal. There will be prizes for
the top 3 classes for greatest participation in these activities, and a
raffle for a fourth class to win.



*Tomorrow* we’re celebrating *West Coast Wednesday*. Represent the diverse
cultures of the West Coast tomorrow, and join us in the courtyard for games
and soaking in the good vibes of fall time in the Bay Area. Check out the
student vs. staff basketball in the Jacket Gym at lunch. Remember: no
swimwear, and please cover parts of your body that are normally covered at
school.



Thursday is Decades Day (with a special bell schedule for the Show of Unity
on Thursday afternoon), and Friday is Red and Gold Day.



*School Photos Now Available*

Attention, students! If you purchased school photos, they are now available
for pickup in the Counseling Center before school, during lunch and after
school.



*Morning Sports Report*

Last night the varsity football team lost to Piedmont, and plays on the
road against San Leandro this Friday.



Interested in wrestling for Berkeley High? Come to an information meeting
on Wednesday, October 18, at lunch in room H-112. See Mr. Nathan if you
have any questions.



*Early Graduation*

Seniors and Juniors: If you are planning to graduate early, you MUST submit
a PETITION TO GRADUATE EARLY form to the Registrar's office. Forms are
located in the Registrar's Office (room D-173) and also in the Counseling
Center. This should be submitted the Registrar's Office NO LATER than
Friday, October 27th, 2017.
