College Handbook Meeting - Thursday 10/12 from 6:30-7:30 pm in the College Career Center - All Welcome

Please come on Thursday October 12 if you are interested in helping to maintain Berkeley High's own set of College Planning handbooks! It is a new year and time to invite new parents to join this group.

These handbooks were originally created years ago by a group of interested parents in cooperation with the College and Career Center staff, as guides for both students and parents. They are updated each year with the latest information, and distributed to all students during their time at BHS. They are also available from the CCC website. The 2017 updated version is coming very soon.

Working on keeping these books updated is a great way to learn about the college application process, and a great way to contribute to the BHS community. The committee meets as needed (no monthly commitment) and welcomes anyone who is interested. It is an interesting time to get involved, with the impending introduction of Navience to BHS. It takes a great variety of skills to keep these books researched, written, reviewed, edited, reproduced, printed and distributed, and to find the best way to get this information to all students. However you can help, is great!

There will be refreshments at the meeting, so ... see you Thursday October 12! 6:30 pm at the CCC.
