Berkeley.net Accounts

- All students have a berkeley.net<http://berkeley.net/> account. User names are as follows:

firstname + lastname(s) @students.berkeley.net<http://students.berkeley.net/>

williambakerjohnson at students.berkeley.net<mailto:williambakerjohnson at students.berkeley.net>

There is no limit to the length of the user name. All punctualtion is omitted ("-", " ' "). The name will not be truncated. In cases where an identical name is already in the District, a number will be placed after the name.

Any teacher can help students determine their user names.

- The default password for students is Berkeley + student id. For example "Berkeley2000123".

- Encourage students to change their passwords to something they will remember but is hard for others to guess.

- If you are having trouble logging in or a student has changed his/her password and can no longer remember it, email Matt Albinson (mattalbinson at berkeley.net<mailto:mattalbinson at berkeley.net>) or Keldon Clegg (keldonclegg at berkeley.net<mailto:keldonclegg at berkeley.net>) and we can reset your password back to the default.
