The YMCA Teen Center is hosting another Information Session about the College Immersion Program on Monday, June 19th at 6 pm.

The College Immersion Program (CIP) is a summer program that will primarily work with rising seniors who are applying to UCs and private schools this upcoming fall. The program is designed to connect students' academic interests to their passions while gaining valuable professional skills and stay ahead in their college application process.

After the completion of this program, students will have:

-Strengthened their leadership and public speaking skills.
-Shaped the list of schools they will be applying to.
-Attended college tours and engaged with college students.
-Finished all four Personal Insight Questions for UCs.
-Completed a cover letter and resume that will be used for scholarship applications.

This program will run from June 26 through July 28. Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 3 pm, and Fridays will be for college tours.

There is a small fee to help cover some of the cost yet making this program very affordable.

Students interested in the College Immersion Program must complete an online application by visiting summer.yscholars.org<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsummer.yscholars.org%2F&data=01%7C01%7C%7Ceb0e8bd7a1ec46ed64a708d4b0505962%7C85b4ec60140948bfb5aece06a136f29e%7C1&sdata=d%2Bw%2BsOveKJcI%2BGNg0ymnyDYy6WZ9UzfYsplxw6kRMQk%3D&reserved=0> by Wednesday, June 21.
