BHS Families,



Athletics is switching to online Athletic Packets through a secure platform called FamilyID. (this information is also located on the BHS website, Athletics tab.)



The Berkeley High Parent Resource Center and the Berkeley High Athletic Director's office are available to answer your questions as we make this transition. Parent Resource will be open in August for those who do not have access to computers.



FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.



BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

Students are required to have a current medical exam/physical in order to complete the Athletic clearing process. Completed Physical/Medical Clearance Forms can be submitted to the Athletic Director's office during the specified clearing times/dates or uploaded on FamilyID before the Athletic Registration can be completed and approved. Physical/Medical Clearance forms can be downloaded from the Athletic's page website: http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/


INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:



Plan on spending approx. 20 minutes to complete the process. It will be helpful to have the following information handy to allow for accurate completion of your online registration.

·         Student ID number

·         Health Insurance Information, including policy #


Go to this link BHS Online Athletic Registration <https://www.familyid.com/organizations/berkeley-high-school> and follow these steps:



a.            Click on the link "2017-2018 Athletic Registration."

b.            Next click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons.

                      i.        If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account.

                     ii.        Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.

c.            Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.

d.            You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don't see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).

e.            Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com

f.             Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red * are required to have an answer.

g.            Click the Save & Continue button when your form is complete.

h.            Review your registration summary.



You will receive an email from FamilyID confirming your registration. At any time, you may log-in at www.familyid.com <http://www.familyid.com/> to update your information and to check your registration(s).



If the link is not working, go to www.familyid.com <http://www.familyid.com/> . Click on the link "find a program" and search Berkeley High School. Click on Berkeley High School. Remember in order to be cleared for tryouts you must come to the Athletic Director's office during the times/dates below to pick up your "cleared" card.



FALL - Clearing Dates and Times:

Aug. 3 - 2-4pm

Aug. 7 - 2-4pm

Aug. 9 - 4-6pm

Aug. 10 - 10-1pm

Aug. 14 - 10-1pm



**Please note - students who fail to complete the registration process PRIOR to tryouts may miss the first day(s) of tryouts.



Make-up Clearing:

Aug. 15 - 10-1pm

Aug. 16 - 10-1pm

Aug. 22 - 3:30-4:30pm

Aug. 30 - 3:30-4:30pm

Sept. 6 - 3:30-4:30pm
