One of the many graduation celebrations at Berkeley High is the California
Scholarship Federation Induction Ceremony.
Berkeley High’s tireless counselor Angela Price is the advisor to this
strong chapter of students who have all far exceeded the CSF expectation of
3.75 GPA. One parent remarked about Angela, “It’s not unusual for a student
to get a text at 11 p.m. like my daughter did (Text: “Your essay looks
great, here are a few suggestions to tighten it up.”), because Ms. Price
gives most of her nights and Saturdays working to help these students get
into the school of their choice.”
The California Scholarship Federation (CSF), started in 1921 seeks to
recognize California students who possess high standards in academics.
Members of the California Scholarship Federation are eligible for a variety
of tuition scholarships available at universities across the state and in
select colleges nationwide. Induction into the federation is based upon
character, leadership abilities and volunteer service.
